2008 FABA Submission Instructions for Workshops

PRECONFERENCE/POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

Workshops should be designed to teach new skills that may be used by the participants. The format of the workshop MUST involve extensive audience participation, use of handouts, opportunities for participants to practice the skills, and/or the use of guided notes.

Workshops may be for a half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours). Full-day workshops will be scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Half-day workshops will be scheduled either Wednesday, September 17 or Saturday September 20, 2008. The workshop must be eligible for approval as a CBA/CABA continuing education event, i.e., the primary presenter must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the content must be Behavior Analytic (cf., Baer, Wolf & Risley, 1968). Workshop presenters will be reimbursed for 40% of workshop registration fees to a maximum of $750 for a half-day event or $1500 for a full-day session.

Since the format of these sessions is so different, presenters should use the special Workshop Submission Form.
